It is finally ~fall~ and what better time to do all the wonderful, fall themed activities than with fun roommates that you just moved in with! Around the Newark area there are a ton of relatively low-cost activities to check out this time of year.
The first one that comes to mind is pumpkin picking and enjoying apple cider donuts. Visiting Milburn Orchards <https://www.milburnorchards.com/> is a classic Newark activity that many University of Delaware students and citizens of Newark build into their schedule between the months of September and November. Between their giant pumpkin selection available to choose from for jack-o-lantern carving, and fresh hot apple cider donuts providing a glorious smell that reaches as far as the parking lot, Milburn Orchard’s is a wonderful place to visit for everyone!
Need another Instagram worthy fall event? Don’t forget hay rides! Carousel Park <https://www.nccde.org/425/Carousel-Park-Equestrian-Center> offers hay rides and other activities during their fall calendar.
